But that's life


Born young, grew old,
Got hot, then cold,
First I bought, then I sold,
But that's life.

I got married, it went sour,
Got real dirty, took a shower,
Tried to forget, had no power,
But that's life.

Tried to work, but got lazy,
Fell in love, my mind went hazy,
Went to the doctor, he said I was crazy,
But that's life.

Now, you say what is life?
Is it having kids, and taking a wife?
Or is it being happy, with no strife?
I don't know......But that's life.
