Did I Make a Difference

Did I make a difference,
As I went about my day,
Did I help a fellow human,
Did I have a kind word to say.

Did I help a little animal,
That was scared and all alone,
Did I do my very best,
To give him a good home.

Have I helped to make this world,
A much better place to live,
Have I done all I can do,
Gave all that I could give.

When this life is over,
And I stand before the Man
Can I hold my head up,
And be proud of who I am.
