Mistake


To ere is human,
The saying goes,
And I'm only human,
The good Lord knows.

I ered and I lost
The best love I had,
I didn't realise,
That I was making her sad.

She's gone to another,
And I'm left without,
A smile on my face,
Or a voice to shout.

Please forgive me I said,
But she just wouldn't listen,
And she just walked away,
Without hesitation.

So listen my friend,
If your woman is true,
Do your best for her,
And she'll stay with you.
